The Guardian carried a story today about how ICE has changed its tactics. It avoids the big raids that nave met mass resistance, and instead lurks everywhere, bringing mass terror to new heights. The Trump administration has changed court tactics too, to mass immigration hearing that are scheduled such that immigrants might not even know of them. It has enlisted other branches of the police. And of course it continues its trademark tactics of the past, such as deporting citizens who it doesn't allow to get their papers, of racial profiling, of making life so horrible for those with legal status that they may be forced to accept "self-deportation", and especially of breaking up families.
