The fight against revisionism

. Marxism has been twisted and "revised" beyond recognition by the apologists for the false "communist" regimes such as yesterday's Soviet Union and Eastern Europe and today's China and Cuba. Meanwhile Trotskyism is pretty much just the flip side of revisionist Stalinism. For Marxism-Leninism to once again provide clarity to the thorny questions and controversies facing progressive activists, it must be anti-revisionist Marxism, a Marxism that takes account of the experience of the revolutions and mass movements of the working class and is opposed to revisionist state-capitalism as well as western capitalism.
