The fight against revisionism

Marxism has been twisted and "revised" beyond recognition by the apologists for the false "communist" regimes such as yesterday's Soviet Union and Eastern Europe and today's China and Cuba. Meanwhile Trotskyism is pretty much just the flip side of revisionist Stalinism. For Marxism-Leninism to once again provide clarity to the thorny questions and controversies facing progressive activists, it must be anti-revisionist Marxism, a Marxism that takes account of the experience of the revolutions and mass movements of the working class and is opposed to revisionist state-capitalism as well as western capitalism.

Why the Global Day of Protest against war with Iran fizzled:  The anti-war movement and its relation to the mass protests in Iran and Iraq; the CVO at the Global Day of Protest; how fake anti-imperialists supposedly "proved" that the Ukrainian Airlines Flight 752 wasn't shot down by Iranian missiles; and the Open Letter to Code Pink that opposed hobnobbing with tyrants. (Detroit/Seattle Workers' Voice email list, January 28, 2020).

Oppose a war between the U.S. and Iran by showing solidarity with the people's uprisings in the Middle East and North Africa!  Excerpts from, and support for, the statement of the Alliance of Middle Eastern and North African Socialists, which connects the anti-war struggle with the people's movements. Also a comment, which includes criticism of those who oppose various of the people's movements in the name of a false "anti-imperialism". (Detroit/Seattle Workers' Voice email list, January 5, 2020).
